Starting out working for his families business, and then moving onto working as a subcontractor, vendor, and seeing multiple sides of the building industry really helps Baker give perspective for the full process of building. Early on, Baker learned very quickly that he would have to take a different approach when it came to customer service. “I noticed early on that clients would come in and tell us that other builders had turned them away. The other builders advised these clients not to come back until they were pre-approved or until they owned land or had building plans or septic designs,” says Baker. “We want our clients to feel welcomed and to feel supported from the very beginning. Most people looking to build don’t know where to start. That’s where we come in!”

A client may need help parceling land, doing soil testing, or finding a lender. Baker’s seasoned team, who collectively has years of experience, guides their clients through that process. A client can expect to work closely with their in-house interior designer who works with them to do renderings and help select all their design materials, give weekly updates, and walk through the project with the project manager to ensure everything is tailored for them. “We take care of your entire build process, from initial drawings, design, project management, construction, warranty, clean-up, final walkthrough, and everything in between,” says Baker. “People appreciate that since building can prove to be overwhelming.” An added perk is that by handling all of these facets, Baker is often able to save people time, money, and help make it a more enjoyable process.
