Vern Yip has plenty of experience designing incredible homes – and plenty of inspiration to draw from. Trips to Asia, Latin America, and Europe as a child helped foster an appreciation for styles and fashions from around the world. After a Master’s degree in architecture from The Georgia Institute of Technology, he put his skill and experience to work and launched a career in interior design.
Today, Vern Yip works from his Atlanta design firm, Vern Yip Designs, but his expertise continues to take him around the world. International appeal and one-of-a-kind style earned him the title of Southeast Designer of the Year in 2000 as well as the 2003 Distinguished Southerner Award from Southern Living magazine.
